Is jasmine green tea as healthy as regular green tea?

Question by Kiki: Is jasmine green tea as healthy as regular green tea?
My health teacher said yesterday that he thinks everyone should drink six glasses of green tea every day. He said something about the ingredients, but they’re not actually listed on the box of tea.. it just says “green tea”.
Well I don’t like green tea. In fact, the only tea I’ve ever liked is jasmine green tea. As far as I can tell, there’s nothing bad about it… no sugars, no CALORIES… but I didn’t see anything on the ingredients that was really AMAZING about it either. Then again, it still only says “jasmine green tea.” Doesn’t tell you what’s IN it.
I’d think it would be about the same, because it’s just green tea made with jasmine blossoms, but I really don’t know. Maybe jasmine blossoms are horrible for you.
Anyone know what’s so good about green tea, and if it’s the same for jasmine green?

Green tea is supposed to have antioxidants that are good for the body. I’ve never heard of jasmine green tea but I can tell you if the label doesn’t list the ingredients I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole.
